At present, fluorocarbon spraying methods for aluminum profiles mainly include horizontal spraying method and ω vertical spraying (or ω vertical disk spraying) method. Although the horizontal spraying method has high spraying surface quality, it has low production efficiency and needs to make up spraying, which is easy to cause "W" phenomenon, that is, uneven spraying and low painting rate. Compared with horizontal spraying, Ω vertical spraying has higher production efficiency, but it is easy to cause metal blackening after spraying, which affects the overall appearance of the workpiece, has a long hanging stroke, is difficult to spray in the concave part of the workpiece, and causes paint sagging in the convex part of the workpiece, which affects the appearance of the workpiece. In this paper, aiming at the quality and efficiency characteristics of horizontal and Ω vertical disc spraying methods and combining their advantages and disadvantages, a brand-new painting and spraying process is developed, which can achieve high production efficiency and improve the quality of sprayed surface at the same time. The new vertical electrostatic spraying process described in this paper has been verified by many tests and production.
